The Government of Telangana Appoints Appellate Authority to Hear Appeals in POSH Matters

The government of Telangana, exercising its powers conferred by clause (a) of the Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act, 1946 read with rule 11 of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Rules, 2013, has appointed eight Labour Courts & Industrial Tribunals in the state of Telangana as the Appellate Authority in their respective jurisdictions. These courts and tribunals are going to function as an appellate body to address the appeals in respect of the Industrial Establishments in cases relating to Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace.
