India plans to raise a complaint against the International Labour Organization (ILO) regarding its 2024 India Employment Report. The Union Labour Ministry criticized the model used by the ILO, claiming it was unsuitable for assessing India’s employment scenario. The report highlighted that 83% of India’s unemployed workforce consists of youth, with a significant increase in the share of unemployed youth with secondary or higher education from 35.2% in 2000 to 65.7% in 2022. Notably, the report’s release occurred just weeks before the general election
